Basic concepts of Cashflow Quadrant:
E - Employee. A person that works for others. He earns money for others. He is WHOLLY DEPENDENT on others.
S - Self-employed. He owns his own job. But if he gets sick or if he goes for holidays he is not paid. His business goes down. (e.g. dentist with own clinic)
B - Business Owner. He owns a business system. He hires people to do stuff and he only does the top level monitoring. His business runs on its own even if he is not around for a whole year. His income always flows in.
I - Investor. He invests money in other people's business system. His money flows in with MINIMAL work.

E and S, time = money. He has to put in time to earn money.
B and I, time is not money. Even he doesn't put time, he earns money.
I am hoping to spread the idea that E and S are not the only options for us.

This is not only my own dilemma.
I want us all to study not only for the purpose of studying.
Where to go after this? How will we SUCCEED?
To be a professional is good. But not good enough.

anyway, i just want to stress that, you guys still have other paths to go besides doing what you are doing. Try looking at businesses, investments, economics, LEARN LEARN LEARN. I'll try to analyze my messed up thoughts into something more coherent points, then maybe I'll get back to you guys.

But FINANCIAL management is quite as important as what you guys are doing. You want to manage your money after you've earned it, or one day you will just wake up knee-deep in debt (housing loans, car loans, credit card payments, overdrafts...), you hate your job but you have no other way to go. Because you need it to pay for your living expenses. Therefore you have to learn to manage your cashflows, the ins and outs of your money.

If you come across the books, PLEASE READ THEM. Then you will know why Iam in this state of mind.
